Never really understood the 4/3 system. I got to pick up an canon xt at wolf camera. It's a bit small for my hand, but with the standard EF lens on it, the weight becomes a bit heavier like I want it to be. Don't like the size, but it's looking to be what I'm probably going to get

If you don't like the size get the battery grip. A LOT of people absolutely love the grip and it gives it the heft and ergonomics that you desire.

I was hoping to buy the xt within a week or so, but my wife kept bugging me for an ellpitcal trainer and I broke down and got her one ($400 something dollars) and the next day she went out and bought about $400 in groceries and stuff for our house. She says I'll defintely get one after thanksgiving but I seriously doubt it now. I can wait though. I take care of my urge for creativity at work and with the holiday seasons here I really am not up to taking pictures outside of work.

I'll keep the battery grip in mind.
