Cades Cove TN

I went to Cade's Cove TN last weekend with some friends... I got lots of nice photos but my Desktop hard disk died so all I have to edit with currently is my notebook.. hopefully these don't look too bad.

Edit: How do I link to a photo in my album???

That one is a gate in a stream above a waterwheel. It seemed to be very old and worn. I assume it keeps fish and other large obstructions from getting into the flume that runs over the top of the old waterwheel. I just thought the vertical lines in the water was cool.

Wow, very nice Varm!!
I think the second is my favorite! I love foggy pictures when they're done right.
I also like the second deer picture - how close were you able to get before they scampered off? I thought it was a little too green and flat so I did some Curves and Color Balance:

My version might be too red or saturated for you, especially the light coming through the ear making that red spot.

Love the dof in the last one

How did you get those pics to link mittens? I couldn't get it to work right...

I really can't tell what the colors look like.. I did these quickly on a notebook as my desktop hard drive just up and died. I will say this though..the grass was a dark green.... As far as that last one.. I could have spent 2hrs taking photos of that and a dozen other trees laying around it with all that moss...was neat stuff.

ohh sorry varm, i read your post at school, then i got home and looked at the pics again and forgot what you said about the editing thing.

and i see Soul fixed up your post for you. you can either use his code or html:

Code:
[img]URL OF PICTURE HERE[/img]
i just prefer html code cuz i'm familiar with it and i know how to control the size of the pic with them and make them a link.
