Another Bryce Shot

I've been playing with something called HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography. It essentially combines several exposures into one 32 bit exposure that you then tone map down to 8 or 16bit for output.. what do you guys think?

nice varm.. yeah it definitely makes the colours more vibrant. i've read a little bit about hdr photography and it seems pretty cool. i know you have to use a tripod though for multiple exposure shots right? so i probably won't be trying any time soon. i can't stand tripods >.<

great shot here and in the other thread btw nice to see you posting again!!

I do usually shoot multiple exposures to make an hdr..but this particular one was one raw shot.. processed at -2, -1, 0, +1 and +2 into 16 bit tiff files..then processed into one 32 bit hdr file before being converted to an 8bit jpg...
