Fireworks
I played around with my camera and did the following at a local fireworks show last night. This is just one that I picked real quick. I have not had a chance to get through all of the pictures yet so I may post more later.
If you want the larger image you can get it here:
http://www.fragonsight.com/forum/pho...ndex.php?n=355
It is set for a 1600 x 1200 resolution.

I will have more. I just have to sit down and my PC, not my works, and go through the rest of my shots. I just picked one that looked good. I see a lot more that look pretty decent.
I will post them once I get to them. Should be soon.

Not too much. This was the first time I have ever tried it.
I put the setting to M and changed it to F/16, ISO 100 and set to the shutter speed to around 3 seconds and that was it. I was using a tripod for all of it. Most of the shots were around 42mm in focal length.
I thought these were pretty good for my first time. There is a baseball game that is doing fireworks tonight and I might try them out too. Not sure.

I for one am really impressed by these shots psycho. Great job. Some real good photo's there. What kind of camera if I might ask? I can't imagine that shooting fireworks is all that easy.

I have a Canon Rebel XTi. I used the lens that came with it (EFS 18-55mm) and a tripod. I set the wheel to "M" for Manual Exposure, ISO 100, F16 (And higher at times) and the exposure to 4". I read that the best setting for exposure should be bulb (Just after 30") but I never got to that setting. Maybe next time.
Shooting the fireworks was actually quite easy. The main thing is to make sure you have a remote switch to take the pictures without having to press the button on the camera. That way you are not moving the camera with the shots. I took a couple hundred shots. Most of them were not the best but as you can see, some were nice.
