Canon 20D
I used one last week, sweet camera, was thinking of looking to pick one up. Anyone have any opinions on it, the test reviews seem really positive.

I was looking at the digital Rebel a while back, but cant afford it right now. I like the old SLR style camera, cause you have so many lens options

I'm not a huge photo buff,
but ideally I'd go with SLR for the flexibility.
.. and Canon certainly has a respectible/long running name

I am a big fan of Canon, I have used a couple of the other big name makers, but I got a Canon Elan 7 (old style with metal frame) for my birthday 2 years ago and it has become my favorite. Just an awesome camera.

i wish i had the money for a digital slr. i dont like the one i have now, its an old olympus my aunt used to use before she gave it to us then i took it to college with me. the color doesnt come out right, it's slow, and the zoom sucks (even when i use the digital zoom feature, which doesnt work to well in the sun because i have to use the screen for it and the sun makes a huge glare on the screen). plus it weighs a lot, though an slr would probably weigh just as much. though i dont think my 35mm slr weighs as much as my digi camera, but it might
