So as everyone is pretty much aware by now the BioShock PC demo is going to beavailable on FileShack at 7pm EST which is just under 2 hours from the time of this news post.Here is your thread to anticipate things and things. Firstly, it's been made very clearthat you are going to need the late...

40 minutes and my download will be done. Can't wait, everything I've heard so far that the demo is AMAZING, same for the game which is released tomorrow. Ohhhh.

Just got done playing it... amazing demo. Was really really awesome. Its a little (but not much) scary and the enemy design is very creepy. The violence is somewhat up there, so if you're on the edge about such things.. I warned you. It was very cool though, the art direction is awesome, and it really is action packed at the right times.

Did you try a lower setting? Like say 800x600? I've heard it ran fairly decent on older hardware.

I posted this in the thread about UT3 hardware in the Deviants' forum, but it is probably worth repeating here. I was unable to run Bioshock Demo in Vista Home Premium (32 bit) until I upgraded DirectX to the August, 2007, release. There is a direct link to it in the thread in our forum.

Since standard troubleshooting protocol calls for current drivers, the current version of DirectX also qualifies.
