Flatout 2

Anyone else play this yet? Its TONS of fun.

Basically a racing game but it has rag doll physics. The racing basically involves you trying to slam other vehicles into things like barns and barrels, tires, other vehicles, and sometimes a human if they fly out of their car. On top of the racing is some super fun "events" that include crazy tracks and things such as high jumps, launching your driver through rings of fire and launching your driver through goal posts. There is also an AWESOME demolition derby mode that is tons of fun, the phyics on everything and the damage models on the vehicles are just simply crazy fun. Did I mention you get nitro?!?

Another awesome part of it is that all play modes can be online also. Its easy to find a game, up to 8 players a match, no chat though and no real game browser beyond a simple gamespy select what type you want to play and it'll show you who's currently hosting a match. One great aspect is that its very smooth online, no issues at all and I've played at least 30 matches online so far.

The game has great graphics also to go along with the physics and racing fun. It performs amazingly well too. I get a constant 70FPS at max settings and 1600x1200 (VSYNC on with tripple buffering, so ultra smooth and no tearing). Here's some screenshots of the demolition derby mode, racing tracks look even better, resized down from 1600x1200 to 800x600:

Vsync limits the FPS to your monitors refresh. It keeps the games from getting that nasty tearing you sometimes see and it helps smooth out a game.

There is a negative to Vsync though, when it limits your FPS it can sometimes knock it in half all of a sudden, causing slight jerks in performance. The way to avoid that is by using tripple buffering, which you usually have to force using your drivers and even then a lot of games dont work with it and I dont know of any OpenGL game that works with it.

It's fun watching your wheel wobble when it is loose. Even more fun trying to drive with no front right tire. =) Just the Disc Brake rubbing on the ground. Makes it hard to turn. =)
