EA is already publishing Crysis, so its really not surprising.

Its sad, but to be honest what do we all expect to happen? People keep buying the crap that is EA games and then there are even those who like them (*cough* people who've spent hundreds of hours playing BF2 *cough*).

this is my point.... I'm trying to get away and the next best thing will or could have the ea name on it... Well I I think I am going to have to realize that once I am done with bf2 or when they finally release nwn2 I will never have to play another EA game again. If this means EA does buy Crytek, then I guess I will avoid that too.

BF2 Crap? Maybe lighten up on the chemicals. Though I'm about burnt out on it...BF2 has been good and IS a good game. Sure there are some things I'd like different. Yeah, I haven't been pleased with the patches (or lack of) but I just deal with. I've gotten a SOLID 14 months (1200 hours) of only BF2. More than any other game I've ever had.

Now it doesn't have spells and dwarfs and fairies, but I moved on from them 40 years ago.

I've tried some new ones and all they do now is make them prettier and prettier (so ppl have to buy new hardware to play them) and yet they offer no better gameplay than SoF2 IMO.

Code get new glasses! Crysis is amazingly impressive looking, and the real thing that should make it stand out is scale. Entire islands at a time, plus Crytek will have an amazingly physics engine.

Crysis is going to be a mainly single player game. That's the main focus.

Isn't Crysis gonna be FarCry with better graphics.

SP doesn't do anything for me either. I stopped playing with myself a long time ago

The interaction allowed with the new engine alone should allow the game to be rather different. The game will rely on its engine, not just graphics, to change the gameplay up.

SP is really one of the only places any innovation has been seen recently. Of course the only real innovation has come from Nintendo, IMO, and they are console only and people label them as kiddie simply because there's no killing involved. I still plan on getting a Wii this winter.

aaaggghh, I feel so dirty! Some German guy is getting ready to be stinking rich beyond his belief. I'm sure he is real upset about the whole thing.

MT, I've heard that a daily round of SP can help prevent some forms of cancer so don't discount it so quickly.
