I got a 256MB card MT. The requirement for the game is a 256MB card, any ATi 1k series card will work, nvidia is 6600GT, 6800, 7x00 series(except the 7100)

X1950 Pro, better performance and image quality.

And unless you plan on keeping the X1950 Pro for a good while there's no reason to pay the extra for the 512MB version.

*The first one has a much better heatsink (it retails for about $40 on its own) and has the highest stock memory clocks that I know of for X1950 Pros.

I got the second one because I was impatient and didn't want to wait for the Extreme version to come back in stock.

Yeah, you're going to pay for the AGP, in fact it's probably worth seeing the prices on the 7900GS for that massive price increase on the AGP X1950 Pro.
