Rainbow6 is out.... video card req...
Rainbow 6 Vegas is out and I forgot to pick it up yesterday... So I grabbed it today.. I was looking at the gfx requirements.. Says x1600 or above... Shader 3.0 support.

Chem, does my x800xl support 3.0 I thought it was 2.0. damnit now I have to upgrade. I need a good deal to hold until next year.

No your X800XL does not support SM3.0, it only supports SM2.0.

I'd suggest a X1950Pro, otherwise a X1600 (or its varients) would be worse in a few cases in other games.

From my knowledge all Unreal 3 engine based games require a SM3.0 video card.

Yes, any X1K series supports SM3.0 from ATi, any Nvidia 6x00 series card supports it also.

AMD's (yes, ATi was bought out by AMD) DirectX 10 cards can be expected sometime in February~March.
