no it cost me $100 for the wireless controller and hard drive. though the monster cables would put me at 150 but I woulda spent that anyways since the premium doesnt come with monster cables. I am almost tempted to go buy 2 more wireless controllers (so I would have 4) at samsclub because they have 2 for $75 . I got a discount on the hard drive though as I only paid $50 for that. However I thought the xbox premium came with a wireless internet adapter??? thats one thing I didnt need.

Must mean Chem endorses Monster Cables
No the premium unit does not come with a wireless adaptor. There are rumours of a black 360 hitting the market with a 120 GB hard drive. What I think we'll see is the 360 staying at the same price but adding more/enhanced features. With the release of downloadable content that will not fit on a memory card (Oblivion expansion) MS is moving away from the core system. Also remember at CES they introduced the Xbox with IPTV support which the US at least may see late 07.

I broke down and bought my son an xBox 360 Premium yesterday. Paid $319.00 for it at a place that had a 2 hour sale on them here in Colorado. It was one of those "thanks for your business over the past year SPECIAL Offers" that I got an e-mail for. I got a 2nd Wireless controller, 2 rechargable battery kits for the 2 controllers, and GOW for him to play. Mine came with the Cable that allows regular and composite video.

Hmm, one of my friends at Circuit city had used the cables that came with his premium, and then has bought the monster cables as well, and he didnt really notice a big difference. Very nominal in fact. But yes, i agree, and i have some as well. monster is one of the best cable manufacturers.

not everyone can see a difference between cables. Some can some cant. To be honest I dont know if I would see a difference between 1080p and 1080i (dont know cause I dont have anything that will display 1080p over HDMI) I know I saw a huuuuggggeee difference when I went from 480p/i to 1080i but then again thats a huge increase in resolution and number of pixels lol. The main thing I look for though is optical output and thats what the monster cables gave me. I tried the cheap $19 cables that walmart sells for the 360 that also had optical output and all I can say is eeewww those cables suxored. I can say I could see a huge difference between those component cables and the monster cables. it was like night and day the difference the cable quality made. whats odd is the ones at walmart were supposedly silver plated and they looked like they were but crappily built.
