xbox360 component

omg I bought some Monster cable component/optical cables for the 360 and omg can you tell a difference between the cables that came with the 360 and the component. The only problem I have is my tv wont display 1080p over component =[ so im stuck with 1080i unless xbox comes out with HDMI cables. I am not joking when I say you can tell a difference between the cables though. The games are soooo much clearer and with more detail. Havent tried an HD DVD yet but im sure they will look even better than before as well. If you have the xbox 360 and an HDTV I highly recommend the upgrade in cables unless you want to wait and see if they come out with HDMI but it looks like they arent going to. I got mine off Ebay for $50 after shipping which is a ton cheaper than circuit city sells them for.

Didn't you get the TH-58PX600U? 58 inch panasonic plasma? It only does 1080i, no 1080p.

no sony 55" sxrd it only does 1080p over HDMI which suxors.

they told me it "upconverts" to 1080p on everything except HDMI where it accepts 1080p. Took me 20 minutes of talking to get that out of them. I used the INHD setup program to properly setup the tv and it is absolutely amazing

. Love the tv just not the customer service behind it lol.

my xbox came with component video cables? uhm? it had component + composite and red + white audio.

you use it to properly setup brightness and contrast and color for the correct image use

. I have it on waste or I can up it to the ftp? You will have to connect your pc to your tv (I would highly recommend dvi-hdmi converter which are like $5) unless you have somethign like the mediaLounge to stream it to the tv like I got

. I wouldnt burn it to dvd because then you lose the 1080i part of it.

dyna my xbox came with the analog audio(red/white) and composite (yellow) video cable thats it. I bought the component (red/blue/green) video and optical audio cable as the analog/composite cable the xbox only allows 480i resolution.

ah thats wierd, you get the core 360 or the premium? my premium came with the cable, not the opticle audio tho, ill buy one of thoes when i get a surround system .... for now, there is a spot on the back of the cable for the audio connector, but i dont have anything to attach it to yet.
