Battlefield: High Definition is a modification for Battlefield 1942 that adds higher-definition graphics, just as the name implies (thanks Ant and Planet Battlefield). In addition to graphical tweaks, the mod also adds a third-person view, increases view distances, and increases the time that objects like dead bodies and destroyed vehicles remain visible.

Sounded cool at first, tho I doubt I'd go back,
but upon further reading, it seems the HD is merely
the removal of fog, with no (noticeable) improvement
to textures, etc.
