There is a guy in my office who bought a mac for his personal computer. So funny, when asked why he bought it, he splattered off the marketing campaign of mac's Duo sleeze. Then he ended with, "...and I like way it looks". Mind you, he only browses the web and uses it for email.


If ford bought out mac's marketing department, I bet we would see a lot more Ford Pintos on the road.

lol true! Except the Pinto wouldn't look like the Pinto. No way something that fugly would come out of the Apple design department.

what has apple done that looks good? the ibooks are ugly, the powerbooks are like any other laptop, the imacs are just monitors with ugly colors, the g5s are like any desktop, and the cubes are just a box

I come here for the Mac bashing, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. You know I make a post about Apple moving some of it's tech support to India and it turns into YET ANOTHER thread bashing Apple. As far as the PowerBook looking like any other Laptop and the PowerMac looking like any other desktop. Ok... sure, looked at a Dell lately? Seriously stop the hate, it's really stupid. I use and like both, is that really so hard?

Personally I like the look of them all a hell of a lot better than any mass market PC that I can think of. Now, anyone who knows me knows I'm no MacHead as I spend my days swearing at the things. That said, I needed one at home for work so I bought one and if the little bugger makes me money sitting here you can call me anything you want. I won't give a damn.

As for Ford...I think they'll be needing there funds just to stay alive for a while. At least until Hyundai buys them.
