any one of these: http://www.sennheisercommunications....T05_Pro-Gaming

i use the pc150's and they're great. nice sound quality and in-line volume/mute. sennheiser > *. only 50 us for the pc150's. not sure about the others there, when i bought this it was the 150's or the 165 i think. the 165's were the same thing just usb instead of standard mic/headphone plug and added another 50 bucks to the price

just read a bit about about the 160 series. if they arnt really expensive, i'd consider getting those. they have a bigger ear cup and probably have better surround sound. if you play fps' that'd be a huge plus. the 150's do, but i think the 160s are better at it. or so the site says, lol

i use the 150's too, and they are nice. at the time the 155+ didn't exist. if i were getting em now i'd probably get the 160. the 165 looks to be the same as the 160 only with a usb adapter.

yeah thats what i was thinking too mim

http://shop.esl-europe.de/product_in...roducts_id/172, has the 160's, but 104 euros, so if i were you, i'd stick to the cheaper 150's, lol. 140 bucks is too much for freakin headphones imo

the plantronics DSP-500 headset (http://www.plantronics.com/north_ame...ull/prod440044) i'm using now is pretty sweet too...right mim? lol

my only gripe is the hassle the plantronics software can be when you're wanting to switch between speakers or headset. other than that, great sound (when you EQ them correctly) and the mic has never failed me. they're a bit on the large side though when it comes to size...hehe. but, i suppose all the over-ear designs probably are at the same time.

Why spend all that money? My $20 Logitech headset with boom mic and adjustable volume seems to work fine for me.

I picked it up at WallMart.....

if you listened to these more expensive one's you'd change your mind...trust me.

i got sennheiser headphones w/o mic several years back for 50 bucks. then i dropped them one too many times and one of the ear cup wires was coming lose and i decided to get a real headset as opposed to the crappy wal-mart headset around my neck and my sennheiser's on lol. well in between getting my new sennheiser's i had to use the wal-mart ones and let me tell you, there is a huge difference. you get next to no bass with the cheap ones, its all tinny and ****. sennheisser's are 10x clearer and it has surround sound so you can tell where people are coming from A LOT better. in ut2k4 it doesnt matter as much, but in a game like cs:s, listening is very very important
