D-Link Gaming router

It's time for me to upgrade my router, I have a gen 1 linksys B Router/AP. It's served me well, but she's limping along and cutting me from Xbox live.

Anyone have any experience with this: DGL-4300 http://games.dlink.com/products/?pid=370&#DGL-4300

I understand the technology behind it, just wondering if anyone has any experience with this particular router.

Thanks.

Sorry a little off topic, I don't have any experience with that D-Link Gaming Router, but all my other D-Link products work well, including my FTP server ( http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=377), and so do my Linksys ones, BUT, my Netgear Router that I use as an Access Point sucks, as does their Tech Support!

Sorry for the Hijack!

I use my wrt55ag router by linksys that smiley recommended to me. Wild and I can both be on (wirelessly) different as well as the same games and have no dropout and normal pings (we both ping 80ms to the RH ut2k4 server when we are both on). She also has used her nintendo DS over that same router to play against BammBamm on super mario kart without any problems either (well besides the problem of me trying to figure out how to get it to connect which I finally figured out). Sorry just giving you what my setup is. I think that DMW is the only one that has this router (the one your asking about) but I could be wrong.

A waste? I dont see the point in spending the extra money on a "gaming" router. I figure one of the 802.11n routers would offer you even more than this.

I havent heard much good about D-Link, though they seem to offer rather unique products. I stick to Linksys myself and I've great luck with them.

I wouldn't be gaming wirelessly, so I could care less about the wireless capabilities. I'm having my house wired with CAT6. I only use the wireless for my laptops.

The QoS like technology that's used in this router is what's particularly interesting me. I wanted to see if anyone actually was using it or perhaps knows someone with one that could give me a real world point of view other than reviews.
