WiFi and ICS
question: I have my main computer connected to the internet via a wireless connection.
I want to share the internet connection with 2 other computers from my main PC thru a hub.
From what I can tell, ICS doesn't like it because my main computer has an IP of 192.168.0.104
but supposedly it must be 192.168.0.1 to work.
Anyone know if what I want to do is possible, and if so, how?

umm do you have a second card on your computer? If you dont that is part of the problem. You could try changing your routers ip to .2 and then you could change your ip to .1 .

Wait, are you trying to route the other 2 computers through ICS on your one computer? Sounds like you have a router, use that. ICS was one of the worst things created for windows.

your internal card will have to be set at .1 and your wireless will be what connects to the internet. the computers will have to have your wireless card set as the gateway. Its been a few years since I setup something like this so I am kinda shaky at remembering exactly how to set it up lol.

I see what you're saying tho, and I didn't think of assigning the .1 IP to the internal nic card, but had
the rest the way you are describing.
I'll try playing around with that and see what happens.

Another option, is to get a wireless Ap and configure it to act as a bridge to the 'other' network connection.
