monitor

I know I've posted asking about monitors, but this time I'd like to know what you guys think about one. My brother has it and looking at it right now it seems fine, but I've not seen it for gaming. I need something relatively cheap that's going to be good for gaming and have relatively true colors for photo editing. It's found here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824179014. This is about what I'm willing to spend on a monitor, especially having spent nearly one of my paychecks from work already, I need to save money.

That' Hyundai is actually a very good montior for its price. Its been around for awhile, but still very good for its price, probably about the best value in 19" LCD's you're going to find right now.

Make sure you use DVI with an LCD, also you'll want to install the drivers that come with the LCD.

I'll definitely use DVI; those are the only ports on my video card. Have to use an adapter for my current CRT

hmm arent the faster samsungs about the same price for the same size? I dunno anything about Dunno if I trust anything that is made by a car maker lol.

Faster? Uhh, jugding a LCD by its refresh times is a crazy thing to do. In fact, often times the same size LCD's use the same exact panal's, with the same and the speeds they list are nearly ALWAYS the best case.

That L90D+ is actually a little bit agged (not much) but is still a legendary LCD for its price. Last XMas I was pretty dead set on getting it actually, but some things came up and I changed my mind.

Its still a great value though and IMO the best for its money around still.
