Ram ????
As I move towards an upgrade I was wondering...If I wanted 4GB of RAM Should I go 2 x 2GB or 4 x 1GB. Would one or the other be faster of more efficient?

2x2GB if your board supports it would be in my guess the better direction. Chem, I am sure, will answer better but I would think its easier and more efficient to access 2 sticks of higher gigs than 4 sticks of lower gigs.

2x2GB, gives you room to grow, if you ever decide to(64bit).
More dimms = more power consumption and more heat.

2x2GB. Always fewest sticks possible (keeping dual channel, of course).
