sweet build MT. Very similar to the one I will be doing after the 1st of the year. You'll like the 8800gts 512, it's a sweet card! First Nvidia card I've owned in about 8 years.

I didn't know it, but my 8800GTS came today with a $20 rebate and Crysis! $o my $360 went to $290. Best bang for the buck in vid cards I've ever had.
Samsung Syncmaster 226BW came also. I have it running on my old system now while I wait for my new case. It is very nice and the games look goood.
Should start to put it all together next week. Got all the parts but the case
The CPU cooler looks like it could freeze a 12 pack

Nice MT. You ended up better than I did. I got my GTS for $299 after catching a instant $100 off (original $399, since it was from the companies "official" store), 1 of 500. I know you'll enjoy the system and monitor, great combo.

After that article there was even another model introduced. Then they created another 22" that they put the slightly lower quality panels on and made the 226bw the better one.

gotta question on the monitor. this is my first LCD. What about screen burn-in. Should I power down, sleep or use a screensaver? My CRT was always on with the desktop when not in use. no screensaver.
