LCD's don't have image burn in like a Plasma, but any monitor/TV left on the same image for extended periods of time can retain the image a bit, even CRTs. I would suggest settings Windows to shut the video signal down after about 30 minutes or an hour. That'll simply save power and is better on the monitor in general. Getting the image back simply means moving your mouse slightly, it'll come right back up.

well, this was kinda my one-time shot and it's really my only hobby/passtime (boring life).
I didn't really NEED all the stuff I got, but then decided to keep my old PC intact.

Yeah I get the fever once and awhile too... seeing how little I would have to spend to get a new board, the E6750, RAM, and new video card... but I continue to resist.
I will wait until I cant play the games I want to play on this old thing.
Trying to get back into watching some movies, finish reading my books I have and play the Wii... so it is not hard right now to resist.
