I'm ready

For any new grilling ideas out there.

It was 80 F here yesterday, and we had to mow the lawn last weekend for the first time.

Though I've continued to grill through the winter, there is nothing like sitting outside with a cold beverage tending a smoldering fire

Snow here tonight, May grill dogs anyway though. Dutch Ribeyes are always a good choice for the grill

Mrs. Smiley grills for me all year around. A month ago as I was snowblowing the driveway and walks, while it was snow like mad, I could smell the steaks grilling. I looked around the corner of the house and there she was waving at me and smiling, standing next to the grill

I'm so damned lucky! Apparently I'm much better picking the permanent wife than the starter wife . . .

You hoser Dutch! Until yesterday I was up in Kinross and the Sault doing traction control testing. It was freaking frigid and snowing like a bizzotch. On the plus side I spent a lot of time driving 70 MPH around a giant glare ice circle track. Talk about a blast! It would have been fun to put on the blades, get out the tow rope and get pulled behind.

It was a balmy 50+ down here today so no complaints. I almost went out to dinner with my spring jacket ... almost.

LOL, sorry did not mean to gloat, was just happy to see the warmer weather which puts me in the outside grilling mode (meaning you actually stay outside with the grill when you use it....)
