Connery is the only Bond that I think fully captured the character.

Add in there
You Only Live Twice - 1967
Never Say Never Again was a remake of Thunderball and not apart of the EON Productions

I'm predicting an "even-numbered" James Bond curse for this one. The odd-numbered actor is widely accepted (#1 Sean Connery, #3 Roger Moore, #5 Pierce Brosnan) where as the even-numbered actor never lasts more than two films and nearly kills the franchise (#2 George Lazenby, #4 Timothy Dalton, #6 Daniel Craig?).
Wonder if this time the series will survive to see #7?
What gets me the most about the word coming out of the "Bond Camp" is that they keep saying how Craig is closest to the way Ian Fleming described Bond in the books.
Sorry guys, you used the SAME press when you named Dalton as Bond, and as much as I liked Timothy (at least he LOOKED like Bond), that didn't go particularly well, did it?
I think I finally figured out why they really named Craig over Brossan, Jackman, McGregor and Owen - because he's the CHEAPEST of the bunch...meaning they can sign him for a multi-picture deal at a relatively low price. Well, you get what you pay for...
The irony here is that, as a fan of great acting, I'll probably LIKE Craig as Bond, but from a profit point of view, it's a HUGE mistake by the studio...Craig isn't a marque star and never will be. Might be another "two and out" Bond in the series.

GMan - I think you meant "Goldfinger", but Boldfinger is still a Bond sounding movie name

Just a little bit of very bad humor. Glad somebody spotted it.
