Holiday Movies

There are of course the movies where it is tradition to watch every year.

Its a Wonderful Life
A Christmas Story (but I can only tolerate it once or twice.)
A Christmas Carol with Alistair Sim
Christmas Vacation
Chuck Jones' How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Some of the new favourites I'm adding into the mix are 'Elf' (with the lovely Zooey Deschanel) 'The Ref' and 'Love, Actually' (a tolerable....well actually surprisingly good chick flick.)

I know its sacreligious, but I actually do find Jim Carrey's 'The Grinch' to be worth an annual sitting with family.

Post away...

How about Silent Night, Deadly Night? Nothing like people getting killed by a disturbed psycho Santa. I like the horror films...

Santas Sleigh or whatever the one that stars Bill Goldberg as evil psycho Santa. That is quality family entertainment right there.

LOL SS...man I haven't seen that in ages!

I'm a Christmas Story man myself. Also have both the original and the Carey versions of the Grinch.
It's a wonderful life.
Miracle.
Never seen Elf but I hear nothing but good about it. I'm going to have to check it out.

Oh..and I can't stand Tim Allen. Doesn't matter what he's in.
