Casino Royal
I went and saw this yesterday and it was great. In my opinion it was one of the best Bond films yet. Great story line, classic bond chases and little twist at the end. I liked the new Bond as because he didn't over act and when he got beat up he actually bled. Lots of fun and worth the price of admission.

I've been a Bond fan since they came out. Have them all and like them all, though some better than others. Haven't had the chance to see the new one yet but it's on top of my to-do list.

there is no doubt that this was the best one. It was nice to see a fresh direction on the plot rather then the typical Bond style movie. It was almost like someone said, "Hey you know if we change the little things this movie would be great." Honestly, I loved that fact that the movie kept you on edge until the end. The Villian! Rocked! Well Done. The Intro Black and White scene totally well done. In all, This is what the Bond Series should have been like all along. Its ashame it took them this long to get it right.
Even some of the brief humored parts were funny as hell. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Absolutely Priceless. I laughed so hard I almost pissed myself

I wouldn't go so far as to say I nearly pissed myself, but this was the best Bond flick in years...it's good to see him played as the original character was written, as a government thug (but I repeat myself...).

I really enjoyed it as well. I enjoy when Bond has to rely on his wits and skills rather than gadgets. Sometimes I thought that Roger and Pierce were too pretty boy, and not rough and tumble.
On a side note, in the book version of CR, what was the game they were playing? I assume it was not Texas Hold 'Em.
This is a good film and a good reinvention of the franchise. Incidentally, how many books remain from Sir Flemming that have not yet been made into movies?

I'm dieing to go see this one. We have new theatre less than a mile from my house but I haven't made it yet. I haven't looked forward to a new bond film this much in a long time.

Well I finally saw it. And I agree, prolly one of if not the best. I was very pleased to see it go to a serious type instead of the joking action-comedy it became. I hope they continue it. I see Craig is signed for 2 more films.
