Bourne Ultimatum

I think it was a great movie. If you liked the first 2 you'll love this one. It follows the same theme, Great car chases, Fist fights and just plan cool escapes

I have read all of the books in the series and the movies were extremely disappointing to the novel's story line.

I did however enjoy the movies but when "NOT" thinking of the actual story.

Eric Van &^%%* has written two of the books for Robert Ludlum. The latest called the Bourne betrayal <-- or Deception or something along those lines.

I wanted to pick it up at the airport yesterday but refused to pay 25$ for the hardcover

I will watch the movie and then get the last book

Cheers

Imp,
The books go a lot deeper and include sub-plots not even touched on by the movies.
I thoroughly enjoyed all three books. Reading them will not spoil the movies by any stretch. If anything they will leave you wishing the movies followed the books closer.

MA,
I thought it was fantastic; I was eager to see it, and for the first time this summer I didn't leave the theater feeling disappointed.

The previous movie called the Bourne Supremacy?? well the book was all about Jason going to rescue his wife..

The Movie.. The wife was killed in the first 5 minutes of the film.. now tell me that, that is "not following the story line too closely"!

As I said though,

I will really enjoy this movie as I like the idea behind it and think the action and Movie story line are great..

The Book though (as in all cases) are much better than any movie (and due to time and money constraints they have to cut them short)
Screen writers take the stroy and Shrink wrap itto fit Hollywood

Same thing applies to the Harry Potter series. Great movies But BETTER BOOKS...
Cheers

The problem with comparing a book to a movie is that the movie is limited to around 2 hours. It is very hard to fit the movie into that time without removing some of the plot and connecting stories. I never try to compare the 2.

Saw it this morning, it was awesome. I'm a huge fan of this series and I loved this one. I loved how the tied it into and worked the ending of the second one into this one.

nope, it did bring nikki (Julia Stiles) into it a little bit more, even though she had like 4 lines through this movie too....

I liked this movie alot, and yes, i liked too how it incorporated the end of the last movie into this movie.
