Movie Remakes..
Since alot of old movies are being remade into modern versions.. Which movie would you like NOT to see being remade..
Mine would be (which they have done but I think they shouldnt have touched it) is..
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
This is a classic in which I believe should not ever be remade..

Normally I don't care if a movie gets remade. If it sucks, I'll just stay away. However I know that as I get older I'll be upset to see some of my old favorites get remade. Pulp Fiction is one of them, Fight Club, Howard the Duck, and other favorites.

i agree with you silver, though i think im still going to see it; it doesnt look half bad. though not exactly remakes, i think some movies shouldnt have sequels, ie disney classics like...i cant think of any off hand, but you shouldnt do a sequel to a classic movie. doesnt matter that i might not like the original there still shouldnt be a sequel. like how home alone and jurrasic park shouldn't have had a 3rd movie (neither of which i saw)

The italian job remake should be destroyed with no trace.
I still refuse to watch it.
The orginal is by far one the best films ever made... EVER !

I'm looking foward to Willy Wonka remake. I think Johnny Depp is a good actor and I think the team behind the remake will do a good job. Though I think it'll be nothing at all like the orginal.

I agree with ya chem....
Nirvana, I never saw the original Italian Job, but I thought the recent version was AWESOME.
As far as not making the remake, I'm going to have to go with.......
Not sure.... so far I think the recent remakes have been good.

actually the jurassic movies sucked (I still watch them because i do like the first and 3rd but not the 2nd so much) is because they didnt follow the plotline of the book even closely. They were waaaaaayyyyy off. I agree with willie wonka though im not gonna see the remake.

no there were only 2 books. just 3 movies to go through three books backwards inside out etc. the movies dont follow the plot line in any way shape or form .
