Friday the 13th I cant remember which one. But ever since then I concider Jason the coolest mofo ever. Dunno why I wasnt scared or anything being a kid. I just thought he was badass killing all those random people. On the other hand the Nightmare on Elmstreet movies creep me out still even to this day.

I'm with Mittens except it was those damned flying monkeys in the forest that messed me up. I grew up on all sorts of horror movies but the first one that really made an impact had to be "The Pit and the Pendulum". Vincent Price is/was my hero for scary movies. I'll watch one of his movies whenever I see it come on. I need a marathon. The VCR is ready.

"Hangin' out in the stands"
Creature Feature movies on TV when I was a kid. I can't remember the guy who was the host but he was dressed up as a mad doctor with blood all over him... I remember my brother and I hiding in the kitchen when it would come on....
I can't honestly say what was the first one I saw (very poor memory of my childhood), but I do remember babysitting and being up very late one night and watching The Bad Seed. That really freaked me out. The girl who played Rhoda was beyond creepy. I guess they're planning on remaking it.
