So, Erad, how goes the Blood Pressure?
Glad that one of y'all asked.....
I was on one med for 10 days, and it went up...
They changed my Meds yesterday morning, and I went from 147/106 to 122/76 within 4 hours. It stays right close to that now, and I feel so much better. I have so much more energy, and my head ache is gone!
I have more tests scheduled for June 13th, and then we see from there where we go. I miss my Beer.... But, I have a found a nice dry red wine (Rioja) that I can have a glass or 2 of each day.
I miss fraggin' with y'all, and Thanks IMP for telling me that we moved.
Thanks Wildflower for giving me the URL for this place.

Glad to hear that yours is going down too. I do have to lose 40 lbs myself, but they wanted to get it down ASAP first, and then I get to work on getting it down on my own, like by losing weight and so on...

Sorry about not saying something to you about the move when I saw you on ICQ this morning but as Smiley didn't mention that he got a bounce back from you I "***"umed that you had gotten the message.
I used to take medication for HBP before I retired. I hated taking it...couldn't concentrate on anything, didn't feel wired like normal and basically lost interest in most things and therefore felt like I had nothing more to contribute, hence retirement. I mention this because as soon as I retired I discontinued taking the medication and returned to "normal". I feel much better now probably due in part to the huge amounts of manual labor I've been enjoying working on the farm and the sawmill. Why do I menttion this, I don't know but (double standard time) you keep taking those meds 'cause we need an Erad for many years to come.

Thanks bud, no worries. Strange, my meds are giving me energy, and I had lost the desire to do things, got lazy... Seems these meds are doing the opposite for me, as I have all these ideas to do things, and I am much clearer in my thought. I even had a guy at work comment today at the end of a project how it was good to have the Old Erad back, full of energy and Ideas! And the room agreed.
