Our BF2 server - question

yeah Smiley, the maps scale. more or less control points and distance. it easy to find plenty of ppl online. check our fav server post in the BF forum.

squads give you teamwork points (i think), also you can talk to just your squad.

actually i see here you can get private servers for $4 a slot. but i don't know if they're ranked.

At first I didin't care about stats/ranks since most games it's K/D ratio. so the 'best shot wins'. This game gives you credit for capping/cap assist kill/kill assist, supplying first aid/ammo/fix stuff, etc. It's gives credit for actually 'playin' the game instead of just killing. So you dont have to be a KillGod to recieve some recognition. Plus you get some trinkets along the way as a thank you and as a goal.

I've been after all the badges, yes for me. but I'm still helping my team in those roles and it helped me to learn the ins & outs of the different classes. Many times i pick my class based on which map and/or what fits the makeup of my squad.

you could play this game for a looong time just by using a different class.


*back on topic, yes I'd pay for a slot $4 or $8.

I would have no problem contributing. As long as its a reasonable amount. I see that there is a minimum 8 slots. but then again i still see battlefield 1942 not battlefield 2. Ill do some diggin later and find if there is somethign cheaper .

I wonder how many FoS'ers would play. 16 player would be fun when full and prolly right for matches? But I dont think there are aircraft in 16 players maps which might turn some off.

I'd cough up +/- $100 to cover costs. But only if I think it'll be mainly filled with FoS. I don't want to pay for one just to have one. If my buds aren't playing I dont need one as there's many out there.

hehe me i dont see paying for another one when we have plenty to play on. when I get a chance Iwas going to check into what it might take to make our current server ranked. I have no problem helping out if we get enough fos'rs that would want to go in on it.
