Bullies

found out today my 10-year old daughter is getting shaken down at school by a couple boys for money, candy, etc.

what do you do when you desperately want to shake the **** out of some little f*cker, and then their parents? no older siblings/cousins in the school district to take care of it. im so pissed right now, i feel like im going to explode!

I'm sure it's tempting to spank the crap
out of the kids, but you best talk to the Principal.

Contact the Principal Turf. I can tell you that you will get further than contacting the parents first and if you talk to the kids without a parent there you are putting yourself in legal jeapardy. Yes a father's first thought is to protect their child, but go through the Principal. If you get no help there then I would contact a lawyer to get something legal in process against the parents.

Do you have any way to get proof so it is not kid story vs kid story only? Video an incident as it happens? Is it happening on the bus and maybe the bus has video?

im calmed down a bit. we contacted the teacher, and she and the principal are handling it at this point by talking to the boys. they havent been threatening violence or anything so i guess i need to calm down . they have been teasing her for a while now, and only asked for money this one time.

they're still a couple of momma-boy sissies by picking on a girl though. my dad would have slapped me up-side the head if i had picked on girls in school..... im never gonna survive her teenage years

Glad you've been able to talk to the teacher. This has never happened to me but I have a 7 year old daughter and just thinking about it gets smoke coming out of my ears......

Hope it works out, I like Smiley's advice.

I agree with the rest, no matter how pissed you get dont confront the kids. Let the school handle it and if they dont, the next step would be to get a lawyer involved, mainly for advice about confronting the parents. Video proof would be great, parents dont want to think thier baby would ever do anything wrong. This is a hot topic right now and I think the school will do something. Hope they do, and teenage boys are a pain in the butt as well good luck dude

Good luck with this Turf. I like your comment about no older siblings in the school to help out. LOL. That's how it always got handled when I was a kid. Everybody knew who's big brother would kick their a$$. LOL. Teenage years...that's a whole different story. I'm NOT looking forward to that one...at least I have a while.

Hang in there bud. This can be hard. At some point MOST kids go through it. Usually not girls though.
I'd have somebody put the word out "SOMEONE" is looking for the boyz, that will get around the school yard like a wildfire. But then again, I might be a redneck.................................OK, OK, scratch the might be

The battle is only begining Dad!
She's safe, that's the important part.
