? about cruises.

Ok I am looking at cruises again. just looking kinda fingering things out. anyways I saw one that says 7 night tampa to san Juan. Does that mean it doesnt take you back to tampa and that you would have to find a way back?

Thats right Blong, they cruise to San Juan and you fly back from there. If you look around, you can find trips that return to where you started or you can book your plane trip to go to Tampa and return from San Juan.

Cruises can be a blast. We went on a 5 day last year and the last 2 days at sea were a bit much. There are lots of things to do on the ship, but I think for me the next cruise will be a 5 day where there is a stop on the last day instead of 2 days at sea.

We also thought the ocean view cabin was worth the extra money. Was nice to be able to look out at the coast when coming into ports and just to see all the lights on the sea at night.

We loved out cruise, enjoy.

well I was looking at the ocean view ones as the other 2 "views" just seemed a little much. yeah great you get a balcony who cares . its not worth $200 more to have a balcony for 5 days hehe. I just really think wife and I need a vacation away for a week. Might bring oldest and leave other 2 at home with grandparents for 5 days .

I dont think you need a balcony either, but the window (dont open) are nice. We took our boys with us and they had a room without a window and it seemed to be clostophobic.

We didn't need to change our money when we went to mexico, and Belize. Most of the shops around the port take US dollars. They suggest a passport for ID when coming and going from the ship. We got them and that is the only ID you will need. Take a couple of ziplock bags to keep them in so they dont get wet. Also you will want to aplly for them soon as they take several weeks to get them back. Walmart takes the pass port photos and you will need 2 each. Check with the cruiseline to see if you need visa's for the countries you will visit. If you take your kids they will need them as well. Hope this helps.

I work for Passport services...right now it is taking 6-8 weeks to get a passport unless you pay extra for expedite. Most countries in the Carribean do not require a passport but check out www.travel.state.gov . The info is listed there.
Hope that helps !!!
