Vacation pics
There´s a lot of neat stuff here in Portugal so I´ll try to post a pic or two every now and then

The first one is a pair of fledgling storks. There are literally stork nests everywhere around here. You see them on top of a lot of electrical posts, etc. These were right in the middle of town of Lagoa. People will put up posts in their yard so that storks will nest on them.

The second one is kinda creepy. This is a part of a (very old, middle ages timeframe) church where they found this area when they were digging to renovate the church. It´s called the bone chapel, and it is made of actual human bones and skulls.

The first two are from a small secluded beach called "the pirates beach". Xcept for the people who live right above very few people know there is access to it. There are no signs how to get there, and it´s a bit off the beaten path. Awesome beach

The next one is me trying to capture the sunset over the mountain range. The sun sets incredibly fast (from right above the mountain it completely disappears in less then 15 minutes). The pic doesn´t do it justice by any means but....

yup, you´re right.

Here´s two more, one showing the ocean near the beach and one showing the entrance we took to the beach. It´s a tunnel I couldn´t stand up straight in at first with steps that open up down to the beach.
