UT99 server is running
208.224.6.75 {OF}Retirement Home UT99

Plain vanilla, good ol' stuff.

I've turned off both the UT2004 and Unreal servers for now to make sure all is well.

If we wanna make it a REALLY old time weekend I should start the Unreal server back up too.

NOTE for Dual Core Processor Users: When I first installed and tried to run the game, I wouldn't run worth beans. Incredibly laggy feel, like walking in butter. Troubleshot it and it has nothing to do with the connection, but is due to the fact that UT99 was (obviously) not designed for Dual Core Processors

I have an AMD Opteron (but this works for Athlon also): installed a Dual Core Optimizer Utility that helps "older" games run properly:

Once I installed that all was beautiful

OG, this thread is close to a year old...

However, if there are more interested folks, I'd be happy to host a UT99 night sometime.

It won't run at the same time as UT2004 or Unreal on the same box at the same time, but it can be made to happen
