Call of Duty 4

Anyone playing it? I finally started doing a little gaming again. We gave the kids xbox360 along with COD4. I was so impressed with it I went and bought the PC version. Then... of course... I had to upgrade everything just so I could play it. Well, it was time to move to PCIexpress anyway.

The game is awesome. I luv it. Maybe UT3 next now. Look for this old fart out on the cod servers if anyone playing.

add ofblong and Idocc to your 360 friends list. I play once in a while (been busy lately) on the 360 and it is awesome. I wouldnt get ut3 if I were you. I went to play yesterday but had such a hard time connecting to xbox live I gave up and started watching harry potter HD DVD's. Course while watching HP it connected just fine to love DDDOOOHHHHH.

Blong... we don't have xbox live... although the kids have been pestering me for it. I have the PC based game. Someone told me that the pc base game and the xbox game both can conntect to the same servers. That true? I really don't know.

What does xbox live cost for the 360? initially and is there a monthly fee then? I would have to connect it wireless. That doable?

you cant, to my knowledge, play the pc/360 together only seperatly. the 1 yr xbox live membership is $50 and I believe the wireless adapter for the 360 is $50 as well (last I checked at walmart it was). You can pay it monthly or buy it yearly. I buy it yearly (ok I fix someones computer and they buy it for me

) as its wwwaaayyyy cheaper overall. I havent seen anyone with any MAJOR issues with using the 360 wirelessly. I believe LOPO uses the 360 wirelessly you may want to ask him how it plays lol.

I have the PC game and am going through the single player right now. I am sure I will be online playing before to long

Great game! I also believe Lopo plays online as well.

I know that Lopo, Heater, myself are playing it online - there are several others that have posted in other threads that they are as well.

I usually fire up xfire when I head out to play...

I think my son described it best.... it's like playing interactively in a movie. Multi player is great. Really smooth net code. Playing over wireless it plays real nice. The single player game is fantastic.

I played over the weekend for two days on muliplayer and made it to Master Sargent so far.

The graphics are the best I have seen. Sometimes to pretty though and the other thing I like is how you can actually camo yourself to the environment. It is really hard to see opponents in this game. Taking on a sniper class and being able to actually hide is great. Something that should have been a long time ago. You can actually hide in grass....

Try it FD. You won't be disappointed.
