What I don't get is why people pinpoint SUV's?

What about the full size trucks that run with empty beds 363 days out of year. What about the sports cars, or the performance sedans..... Southern Cal is Innodated with everything I just mentioned, SUV's, full size truck's with empty beds, sports sedans getting 17mpg, and sports cars getting less...
because there are more suv's in america than any of those you mentioned on the road. at least from the stats ive seen that is the case. On top of that you can do more with an suv than you can with a sports car plus in an suv you can take kids/groceries/move things like furniture etc etc.

because when i drive home today from NC on I-40/I-95 5/10 cars will be SUVs, maybe 1/20 are sports cars if that. off hand i only remember seeing 2 or 3 mustang cobras on my 5 hour trip down to the beach, but lord knows how many SUVs...there area lot of trucks as well, but its easier to just say SUVs than it is SUVs and trucks...but people that dont use trucks for what they are meant to are just as bad as the SUVs. also, when someone has a sports car that gets under 20 and usually takes premium, usually they have another beater car to drive them around daily. i know you dont lopo, but a lot do. someone isnt gonna be driving a viper around as their daily driver i wouldnt think. my crx i only plan on driving when i feel like driving when i eventually get the turbo for it just because premium + 20mpg sucks.
