Better retire that SUV...
.. looks like gas prices are going to just keep going up and up.

I guess the only good thing I can say about it is it will probably make us finally get off our butts and move towards alternative energy.

I am in the market for a new vehicle. Would love to finally get a little truck with 4 doors, but with the price of gas pretty much guaranteed to reach $1.00+/Litre this summer for regular unleaded I really do not know if that is a good idea!!
Just tired of not having any room to haul anything, whether that be bicycles, furniture, lots of camping gear. Sure a Magnum is cool, or a Honda CRV, but neither has the room of a truck.... o the decisions!!
Maybe a 4banger Canyon...

The problem is that not only fuel prices will be going up.... anybody recall why inflation started in the first place in the 1970s? The oil shock was one of the major triggers to the hyperinflation of the late 70s. I would say at minimum we are looking at 12 to 15 percent inflation next year if oil keeps going up. Oh.. and no your salary won't inflate that quickly.

What's funny, is that many SUV's get the same gas mileage as many cars out there. My car gets on avg 15MPG... oh well.deal with it. If you own an SUV you understand the financial burden.

Well, if you want a Prius you better put your name in now to get one. 8 month wait here in Atlanta... will probably go up.
Hey Clyde, when are the US brand hybrids coming out?
