Finally got the motorcycle out. I threw the battery in let the gas drain down and it turned right on. Road around town to warm it up then tested the charging system. 13.5V at approx 2500RPM scchwwweeetttt got the electrical problems fixed

Then later I road down to local grocery store to get some cheese and some jackass pulled out in front of me. Though I anticipated it cause his wheels didnt stop rolling through the stop sign (he was supposed to stop at the stop sign and instead rolled through). I stopped just in time to miss t-boning the idiot. now I just have to finish cleaning it up. you know polishing the chrome and steel wheels, putting some vinyl shine to the tires, and using leather cleaner on the seat and saddle bags

Take it easy out there Blong. I remember when my cousin pulled his bike out for the first time when the weather got nice. He caught some moisture and loose salt and down went his bike. The worst thing is he rolled down a hill into a river and almost drown.

I have had mine out a few times here also blong. One day, on a saturday the temp. got to 70.... myself and few friends dropped what we were doing and spent the day riding. I went out yesterday though in between yard work. It was around 60 here.

Some friends and I are doing sturgis this year? Interested?

Tell wild you have to make the Mecca once in your life. You won't regret it. Some great great riding up there.

Thanks smiley. Been working on it. Not alot of customizing on this one though. I like it pretty much the way it sits. There are two things I am saving up for. Fat Daddy fat spoked wheels and the chrome front end.

We are leaving for Sturgis on the 5th of August Blong and coming back on Saturday the 9th or Sunday the 10th. Kind of undecided till we can see what kind of rides were squeezing in. Wed we will walk the strip and see the vendors and then after that it's all riding.

We are camping on this trip. Everything will be packed on the bikes.

camping as in wherever you happen to find a nice spot or camping in a campground? I have never made a longer trip than 30 minutes on my bike so Im not even sure I could make it that far lol.
