Power wheels drive motor?

I sent an PM to G_man because I thought he sold these but I wasnt sure. Figured I would ask everyone as well cause maybe you guys might sell them lol.

Quote:
You guys dont happen to sell DC electric motors for things like power wheels do you? In case you do the numbers on the motor are

00968-9012
1060132
3F2331 47

I am just having a hard time finding one as Power wheels is telling me they wont send me one and that I have to take it to a local repair facility and the repair facility wont sell me the motor telling me they have to repair it (the dang power wheel toy isnt even under warranty).
BTW the whole assembly number seems to be 191503. Motor is actually fine except the fact that BOTH clips on the end snapped off and you cant really sodder the clips back on.

hmm interesting site. I made a post to see what kind of motor I should Get. I have found a couple that might match but looking at the specs might make this thing a little too fast. Then again it cant climb the hills at smiley's house so maybe with the right motor I can make it climb those hills without the screws in the tires . I think smiley would be proud to see that lol. pimpin out skylers escalade I can see it now. Though I still have to figure out what is wrong with Haydens jeep cause I cant get it to do anything. Hopefully I will remember to bring my tester home so I can check all the electrical connections. suppose it could be a bad battery or I wonder if there are any fuse's on it.

I know an old jeep powerwheel my kids had
had a fuse in it. Just follow the main connection
from the battery and you'll find it (if it has one).

lol ended up being a bad battery. 10v for a 12v battery just doesnt cut it. I put Elijahs battery out of his 4 wheeler (his is waiting for 2 new motors) into Haydens jeep and Haydens jeep took right off. SSSOOOO I am thinking of buying a 24v battery for Haydens jeep upgrading the motors to 24v motors and seeing how it handles muwhahahahaha.

ok I think this is what im gonna do.

RBC6 - UPS Battery Pack for APC SU1000RM SU1000RMNET - eBay (item 170223537089 end time Jun-27-08 07:20:59 PDT)

buy that cause $60 for 2 12v batteries is sweet deal and then

30 VDC BRUSH-TYPE MOTOR | AllElectronics.com

2 of those . Of course looking at speed looks like it will go about 15 mph so he WILL wear a helmet.

Have you thought about putting a 24 volt motor on each wheel,
and mount eight 12 volt batteries?

That motor that you linked.. what's it from?
Doesn't look like it could take much load.

its a bigger motor than whats on the jeep right now. However I think I am going to just series in a 6v battery with a 12v battery and see how that does for more power :d. If i go with 24v I would have to upgrade all the electrical system as well as the gearbox. Basically I would be better off buying a small golf cart.
