my new '04 focus has mp3 support! lol. acura's are definitely nice cars. i'd get them before the vw for sure. i probably wouldnt buy new, but that's because i'm different than most people and fix my own car so i dont mind buying used. makes things a lot cheaper, even if something breaks down the line. that, and i was always told to avoid owing money

Dyna, I was talking to a buddy who owns a TSX. He offers these words of advice. If over all stomping speed is not an issue and luxury and comfort are, this car is something you should look at. If your looking for balls to the wall speed then you may want to look at the Subaru WRX.
He is driving an automatic so he does assume the 6-speed manual will have better performance. He loves the handling of the car and finds it extremely responsive. He also likes the fact that having the Acura names gives it a bit of an elite image to it compared to Honda, Toyota, Ford, Subaru or VW.
If you could swing some extra cash, he also recommends to take a look at the Lexus IS series.

think this is a much better choice than the VW?

The TSX sits on the Accord platform, not the civic, so that should answer your question. The TSX is a nice car.
Yes, better than the VW.
