Saab and Volvo

O.K. I've about had it with my Magnum so I'm thinking of selling and buying either a Saab or a Volvo. So, personal peeves and such aside...anybody owned one, experiences etc, etc? DT, I know you have a Saab but I forget which one. I'm looking at a Volvo S80 T6 or a Saab 9-5. What's the difference between the Aero and the Linear?

The magnum has developed a case of sporadic misfires that the dealer can't source. The more I look around the more I see this is not all that uncommon.

That's funny Cheese. I like the volvo better for looks but the saab better for performance. The Aero really moves. I'm just not sure if it's big enough for me or not. I'm really used to this big wagon of mine!

DT? LOPO? Where are the rest of you car freaks!?

I recently picked up a new 9-3 Aero and I love it. It accelerates hard, rides and corners well and chicks dig it! Really the only complaint I have is it takes a second when you first key up to check the nav DVD before you can use the radio. I like the nav system but it's an expensive option so if you're not sure if you'll use it don't get it. (Nav system also takes up a spot for the CD changer so w/out nav you get, or can get, 6 disc changer; with nav you get single disc.)

The Aero has the 2.8L V6 turbo but after the test drives I thought the 2.0 I4 turbo had plenty of snort too. I'm not sure the Aero package is worth the extra $$$ but it must have been because I got it. I let a sweetie drive it last weekend, we'll see if that does me any good this weekend. She can drive stick so she's a keeper for sure.

I use to have a Volvo S60. It was beautiful. It's a hard choice. Either way you go, you'll have a great car. My suggestion is to test drive both of them.
