That's pretty wild.... that's the plane I worked on when it was first introduced in 1982. We had 60 of them and taught other fleet going squadrons how to fly and maintain them. The backrest for his head is the parachute. It's a 28 foot canopy packed in there. We would repack those chutes every 364 days. Would you believe that we would use a big press to press the chute down after so many folds.
All of us got back seat hops back then. I never pulled a 7 g'er though... I think maybe 4 or 5 was our max and people would still get sick.... me included.
