ok I Cleared cache and deleted cookies and deleted history and everything you can so...

but it still is borked!!!

I just got on to check and it told me 16 unread post.. click on it.. and it told me no topics meet my search criteria again!!

it's doing it on ALL my computers... and all of them have been cleared!!!
3 desktops and two laptops... so it's not on my end! =/ unless its one of the following...

Same thing is still happening to me as Skull described and I've taken the steps you've mentioned. XP Home, IE6, the GreenEX color scheme (not sure that makes a difference). Once I'm surfing the forums and someone posts during that time, I get the new post yellow checkmark and highlighted topic title. When I leave the forum and come back, it's all lost again. Step by step? Enter main page, click on the new posts thing on right side of page under my avatar, see the nothing matches search criteria thing, click the back button (on the mouse...5 button Intellimouse)*, click on forum link on left side of entry page, go into forum main page, see nothing but black circles, surf around for new posts using time/date of last post.

*alternate method is to use the "Frag On Sight Forum Index" link on that page and go directly to forum main page. Results are the same.

Hope this helps but I don't see how (get my dark glasses and cane).

I open IE6
go to FoS main page.. see how many unread posts I have... 21 right now to be exact... click on the link and "no topics or posts match your search criteria"
hit the back button to go to the main page.. then hit the Forum link and its all black!!

I cleared cookies.. I cleared Cache... I cleared history... it happenes on ALL my computers

this one is p4 3.2 gig Win xp PRO
other is an AMD64 3200 Win xp PRO
laptop is PIII350 Win xp PRO

I had to clear cache, deleted all (fragonsight) cookies and deleted history of visited webpages (just to be sure) and then it started working again. (Firefox). Just clearning the cache did not work by itself. The cookies are easy to find, they are all called fragonsight something and there's one called www.fragonsight

I have same problem as skull still. bring up firefox or ie6 for the first time in quite a few hours. said I had 55 unread posts. click it and says you have no new threads or posts. I also cleared the cache but not the cookies etc as I dont want to have to relogin to everythign .

Yeah, me neither, that's why I just went in and just cleared the fragonsight cookies. Like I mentioned they are all called fragonsight with the exception of one that is called www.fragonsight so if you sort your cookies in alphabetical order they are easy to find and delete.

I'll try that now FD. I was thinking of doing that anyway but like others, I didn't want to have to dig up passwords to all the other places I frequent.
