It was happening to me on my blackberry!

But I deleted cookies and cache on it and it works now!

You are very right, and TCO is much cheaper in the long run. We are awaiting our demo phone from MS to test the direct push functionality, so far there aren't any vendors that have released a phone in the US that will do it. Even the old method of SMS +Active Synch is pretty sweet.

yeah I always did that and it still once ina while screws up just did it to me yesterday.
