well not that critical but...In the set your timezone (under profiles) is it possible to have it adjust for daylight savings?

actually i thought it was weird, although i dont really care to know the EXACT time i post...

even though my timezone is set correctly...it still posts about an hour behind when i post...lol

no biggie though. just thought it was weird.

i believe the timezone offset is based on the offset of the server's timezone, not yours....will know in a sec here after i see my post. =P

yeah...i'm assuming the server is eastern timezone as -5 gives me the nearly correct time (i think the server time is actually 10 mins fast =P).

i do believe there are mods for phpbb to handle daylight savings.

  • I have changed a couple of things on this:
  • The server now synch's with a NTP server so time should be more accurate
  • You know longer have to figure out what you +/- GMT is. Instead the drop down box in your profile will show you a list of times, just pick which time it is in your area currently and you will be all set.
  • DST is not working correctly and it will be moved to the bottom of the list of things to work on.
