i personally like using the new ventrillo mainly because when i switch back and forth between old and new, i lose all my saved admin passwords to the servers that i admin on the new version. not that my oppinion really matters

use the -m switch and you dont need to switch between versions and can actually run them at the same time.

The above poll options rule out the two cans and a string option which seems to be the only alternative that'll work for me.
