yes Metal he does, but he wrecked on his 4-wheeler and can't play anything until his shoulder heals up. He's a 1 armed bandit for awhile.

really?
So, what's to prevent people from downloading it for
free, and trying out multiplayer?

there's always SoF2
which looks pretty good if you crank up your settings in your vid card (not in-game)

the only think that might stop you is if they put some sort of cd encyption on the disc , because yes, it looks like you need the cd in to play......

Not true, to all that think this game is ruined because of no protection, take a look RTCW:Enemy Territory? It had no protection accept it did something like ban the game form running from your harddrive or something, I dont know much about it, but it worked didnt it?

there's ways to emulate protection using things like daemon tools. for all intents and purposes, xp sees an extra cd drive and you just load a cd image to it and you're good to go. but either way, i usually only do stuff like that when i know i'm not going to buy the game. i'll end up playing for a week or two and then never play again

I am enjoying multiplay, but that might only mean I have not a clue. I stopped playing only when I got UT3, which crashes my pc after 1 night of game play, so not I'm back to playing SOF-PB. It just needs some more ctf servers.
