thanks for all the work put in...i had something to say but after reading that huge post i forgot i'll get back to you when it pops into my head again

oh yea, just remembered, lol. you say this wasnt intended to be this big and stuff and that you dont need donations. but as we found out on nachos, the server got loaded down pretty quick, during the day i could never get to it. if this wasnt even intended on being that busy, how will it hold up with traffic if it gets that big? i know nachos had like a couple hundred people on there at once, but still. from what i see now, there are not many new posts. about twice as many here as there are there right now. so just a concern i had

While it was never planned to get this big, capacity was never an issue, features, launch date, those were issues..

I am not sure of the actual volume at nachos as for as load, but I can tell you that we have lots and lots of room to grow. If the need arrises we can upgrade, but I am guessing it would be some time befoe that would need to happen.

WaTG all that work so hard to get this up and going. I know htere was a lot of work that went into it and am personnal glad you did it I cant wait to see what this place grows into in the future

IF IF IF there need every arises, I would rather have donations with some type of special memberships than to have ads. But that's just me.

Maybe the [FoS] tag should be reserved for teams made up from any of the site's members that wanted to comptete in paticular games when no clan could field one on their own. Therefore truly representing our community.

First off again thank you Soul for all the hard work. This is a great new home for us all. I understand about the donations and I aggree with you. I run a server off the ds3 at work and to be honest the only thing it costs me is my time and my last gaming rig. It would have made a sweet Linux box at home but I'd rather give back to the gaming community. Hell I imagine a cs:s server requires a faster machine than a bbs but would require more storage. So if your situation is similiar to mine it only costs you a machine and your time. Both are very appreciated. Teh only reason Nacho shad slow load times is I think it was running off a p2 or something.... Face it Saint made money with the ads and memberships and he has/had a right to. THIS bbs is a true community because of the lack of ads and sponsorships and amen to that brother

Thanks for the site, Soul! I don't want to imagine what kind of chaos would have ensued had we not had a place to come to like this. I'm not really worried about losing touch with anyone now and that's a great gift that you and the administrators have given us. Thanks all!
