Would you blog?
One of the features available for the new board would be an integrated blog, each user could have their own blog section, dedicated to them.

So before I invest time in such a feature... I thought I would ask if anyone would be interested in such a feature.

could this possibly bring up some of those political debate problems that we've experienced in the past?

I think there are a ton of other blogging platforms out there that would be sufficient for this need.

You can blog about gaming, tech and family - it doesn't have to be just politics. However this is the reason I put it out there, wanted to see everyone's thoughts first.

I am with u there Soul. I see no issues with it, we could just as well post about politics if we wanted to but chose not to. Who the heck wants to talk about a bunch of political BS. No matter who we vote in we still get screwed. Much better things to discuss. So I have no issue with having a section for blogs... would I use it?: Not really sure. I may. I think it might be kind of cool. Might be an easy way to keep 'friends' up to date on what is going on in our lives if we so chose.
