I view the idea of getting a message or email that says something like "Can I be your friend?" as being akin to getting a phone call that starts off with "This is your last chance to get an improved interest rate on your credit card."

I use facebook for a few minutes each day and I have been able to find many people that I have not kept up with in years. I like it just for that reason only.

I have a facebook, myspace and classmates accounts but I use facebook the most: thats how I keep in touch with family overseas. I'm on there a few times a day, at least.

I have a classmates but never use it since to do anything on it you have to pay a fee and well not worth my time.

Well I guess my boycott of these has ended...my company is wanting all employees to get facebook accounts as a form of instant communication, instead of ICQ. I think it's dumb and told them so...so now I'm on the big bosses list again I love stirring things up
